Barbara Pagett sits in the back of her friend Kevin Denny's car with her cat after arriving to a temporary evacuation center at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds they just found out was open after being evacuated for two days. Kevin picked up his friend Barbara, who he's known for 10 years from living in Guerneville, the night they were told to evacuate. After they evacuated the first night and found the Petaluma evacuation center was closed, they were forced to spend $300 for two nights at a hotel. Since they didn't know how long they were going to be out of their homes, they have since had to buy new clothes, food, and spend extra money on gas they weren't expecting.
